Supporting the communities in which we live

Whilst we are not a big corporate with deep pockets, we still support our community where we can. Each year, we carefully select areas which reflects our interests. We offer these groups time and often some form of financial contribution. A few of our community activities include:

 

Lions Club of Park OrchardsLions Club of Park Orchards – Youth of the Year award

Michael has spent several years judging Lions Youth of the Year. This sees many young people from our community standing up for recognition for their academic and community achievements.

 

 

Warranwood Cricket ClubWarranwood Cricket Club

We are a proud sponsor of the Warranwood Cricket Club, based at Quambee Reserve. The club has an active juniors program and are well regarded in the RDCA Seniors competition.

 

Toastmasters Ringwood

Toastmasters Ringwood

Toastmasters Ringwood is the local club that helps people build confidence in their every day speaking. Regular meetings are held were all participants are encouraged to stand up and talk.

 

The Rice Meal Inc.

The Rice Meal

The Rice Meal Inc runs an annual meal event with speakers volunteering their time and talking about poverty and awareness of how little things can help. The annual Rice Meal event occur around March each year and sees participants sharing a bowl of rice as they learn of others experiences. Speakers have included Tony Wheeler from The Lonely Planet and Paul Whelton who ran Budget Rent-a-Cars. Money raised is donated to The Rotary Club of Ringwood, The Footman Club and World Vision.
